By no means can I say I know all the techniques of After Effects and motions graphics but I have a pretty strong understanding of the two and this video, Welcome to Heartbreak by Kanye West featuring Kid Cudi, and directed by Nabil Elderkin, made me say wow. I love the innovation in the transitions and the pixilated style used to express the vision of the song. Enjoy.

The song is cool. Hip hip is bases around finding stuff and turning it into your own. The style might have originated from Chairlift “Evident Utensil” but Kanye put it out for the world to see and did it better than they did it. He remixed their video and made it his own. That is the culture.
